The system restore return computer to an earlier time (called a restore point) without causing to lose recent work, such a saved document, email, or history and favorites lists

Computer automatically creates restore point, but actually user also can create his own restore point. System restore is useful when making a major change to computer system, such as installing a new program or changing windows registry.

Below is step by step how to setting a restore point

1. Start System Restore
From start menu, choose programs > accessories > system tools > system restore

2. Choose option “create a restore point” then click next

3. Enter a restore point description.
Describe about what you doing, like installing new software

4. Click create, and then click close. Done

Now it safe to make a changing to windows, when something go wrong after that, you can used system restore. Before using system restore it better to restart the computer first.

Step by step to restore the windows system

1. Start System Restore
From start menu, choose programs > accessories > system tools > system restore

2. Choose option “Restore my computer to an earlier time” then click next

3. You will see a calender and some date that have restore points available is displays in a bold. When you click on the bold date, you can see the description about when the system restore created.

4. Click on date which you created restore point with description installing new software and then click next.
